Organisation Structure
Caring Homes Group is a private care home provider, operating in the UK and Isle of Man. Our portfolio of 20 care homes includes elderly residential and specialist care services.
We employ circa 1,400 employees and provide around 1,150 care beds.
Our Suppliers
Our supply chain includes the use of third parties such as agencies in the recruitment and selection of our employees both in the UK and overseas. We also procure goods and services from organisations based within the UK.
Our policy on Slavery and Human Trafficking
We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chain or in any part of our business. Our Anti-slavery policy reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking are not taking place anywhere in our operations or supply chain.
Actions we are taking:
To ensure that we are being effective in this area, the actions which we take and will continue to take are to:
- Identify and assess potential risk areas in our supply chain, so that we can mitigate the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring.
- Ensure that all suppliers confirm compliance with the requirements of the Modern Day Slavery Act (2015).
- Maintain open communication within our supply chain to ensure understanding of expectations and compliance.
- Ensure that employees and managers are advised how to report any incidents they know about or hear of in the workplace and/or through their association with others.
This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our Groups slavery and human trafficking statement from January 2023.
