Meet the Home Manager, Cathy Deocadez

As Home Manager, Cathy is dedicated to enhancing the lives of residents, ensuring they live as they choose in a supportive, friendly environment. With a background as a licensed nurse since 1996 and a Registered Nurse in the UK since 2004, Cathy brings over 20 years of senior nursing experience to the role.

Originally promoted from Deputy Manager at Benson House, Cathy leads with an open-door policy, fostering a culture of inclusion, continuous learning and personal growth.

Passionate about both team development and resident care, Cathy values Benson's connection to the local community and its scenic riverside views. In Cathy’s spare time, she enjoys cooking for family and friends, experimenting with new dishes.

When you or a loved one move into Benson House Care Home, we work with you and your family to create a personal assessment that’s completely tailored to your needs and wishes. This includes not only your care needs, but also personal preferences, nutrition and diet and an assessment from our dedicated physiotherapist – all of this is used to create a completely bespoke programme of care for each resident.

We give as much independence as possible at our Benson care home, giving individuals the choice as to how to run the home. If they prefer dinner in front of the TV, or even dusting their own room, we’ll make it happen.     Benson House care home is located on the one-way part of Churchfield lane which you can access via the mini roundabout on the local Oxford Road (B4009), opposite Littleworth Road. Our car park is for residents and visitors. If you would like us to reserve a space for you please let us know.

    These weekly indicative fees are subject to a pre-admission needs assessment which is required to fully understand the level of care and support required. Nursing fees include Local Authority nursing contributions (Funded Nursing Contribution) if applicable.

    Fee rates are also determined by the size and aspect of the room and the duration of the stay (short stay/respite or permanent). Fees are payable monthly in advance.
