A day out at AFC Sudbury for Hillside resident
At Hillside Care Home in Sudbury, our residents interests are really important, and we do all we can to help them to continue with their loved hobbies and interests.
It was a special day indeed for resident Nicholas, who went outside for the first time since before the first lockdown. Nicholas is a keen football supporter and was invited to go and see AFC Sudbury play in the first match of the season.
A huge thank you to AFC Sudbury, Andrew Long and Steve Screech for arranging this, allowing Nicholas to come along and watch the game against Aveley. We would also like to say a big thank you for the lovely gift of a Sudbury football shirt, pin badge and keyring. Nicholas loves it. He had a wonderful afternoon and was cheering on Sudbury throughout the game. Thank you also to Lynne Gleeson for taking time out on your weekend to help out.
