A message and rainbows from the Sanford House team
The staff at Sanford House Nursing Home in East Dereham, wanted to send a message to everyone, emphasising the importance of staying at home to protect yourself and others during this unprecedented time.
During this time we are doing various activities with our residents and wanted to join in with the nation by displaying rainbow designs at the home.
All over the country, people are putting rainbows in their windows as a sign of solidarity through these hard times. Health and Wellbeing Coordinator Emily Hill helped the residents to paint a number of rainbows for display on our sign. Even as she displayed them, members of the public passing by were complementing them, and thanking all the staff for their hard work.
At Sandford House we provide nursing and nursing dementia care for up to 40 elderly people and were rated ‘Good’ in our latest CQC report. We continuously improve the lives of our residents through offering wide ranging activities and events both in and outside of the home, involving members of the local community as often as possible.
