A month of fun at Guysfield Residential Home
February, like all other months at Guysfield Residential home, has been filled with arts and crafts, games and more for the residents and staff. There was some friendly competition during the ‘what am I’ game and much concentration was needed during a game of ‘patience’ the course was tricky and it was frustrating when it buzzed!
During our arts and crafts sessions this week, we got ready to welcome spring and all its little creatures by painting our own bird boxes for the garden and spent the afternoon ‘aqua painting’ there were a few Picasso’s among us, which brought lots of laughter.
A silent disco was held, with Neil Diamond- Sweet Caroline being a firm favourite among the residents, followed by a pamper afternoon, treating the residents to a hair wash and blow dry and some even got their nails done.
