Afternoon Tea and celebrations at Horsell Lodge
The residents and team at Horsell Lodge Care Home have been busy with a range of activities including a delightful afternoon tea, which was enjoyed by all the residents. With chocolate profiteroles, scones with fresh cream and jam, meringues as well as sandwiches, sausage rolls and quiche which were all pleasing to both the eye and tastebuds. They got to enjoy some prosecco which cleansed the palate nicely in between all the temptations. The home's Wellbeing Coordinator decorated the room in the spirit of the event and the crockery and candelabras added a sophisticated touch. As everyone at the home says 'There is always time for tea'!
There have been other celebrations at the home with two residents Connie and Jean celebrating their birthday's in style with bubbles and cakes made with love by the home's creative chef. The home was decorated to make their special days that bit more special for them.
