Animal madness at Mellish House
The residents of Mellish House were treated to a visit from some rather unusual guests this week as they welcomed a series of small animals to the Suffolk home.
The residents gathered in the lounge of the purpose built home to meet the mischievous menagerie that included stick insects, spiders, snakes, tortoises and even a ferret. Everyone had a wonderful time as they had a chance to hold and stroke the animals whilst learning more about the care that they each required.
Situated in the quiet village of Great Cornard, Mellish House is a purpose built home providing residential care for up to 48 elderly people living with a form of dementia.
