Oddie's journey began in a French rescue shelter, where Caroline, the Wellbeing Coordinator at Benson House, discovered him at just 12 weeks old. Upon moving back to the UK a few years ago, Caroline brought Oddie along, and their bond has since blossomed.
Describing Oddie's gentle nature, Caroline shares, "He loves being showered with affection and has the most patient temperament. There isn't a mean bone in his body."
The residents at Benson House have eagerly embraced Oddie's presence, finding comfort and joy in his company. They have expressed their delight, with comments like "His ears are so soft!" and "He reminds me of the dog I used to have." The interactions have stirred fond memories, and residents eagerly look forward to Oddie's visits, asking, "Will he come again?" and reminiscing about their own experiences of walking and caring for dogs.
