Blenheim Court Care Home host Macmillan Coffee Morning
The residents and team at Blenheim Court Care Home hosted a Macmillan Coffee Morning for the local community at a local cafe to raise funds for the Midhurst Macmillan Team.
There were a range of delicious cakes and hot beverages for all to enjoy as well as a tombola and raffle to raise money for such a worthwhile cause, the raffle included wonderful prizes that were donated by Liphooks Sweetreatz shop. The event was hosted at the beautiful private hire venue in the village 10 Station Road who donated all alcohol purchases to the fundraising as well.
On the day everyone raised over £220 - a fantastic achievement - well done to all involved!
The home often hosts fundraising activities for charitable organisations and hosting a coffee morning is one of the many ways they achieve this. Coffee mornings were also held at a number of other homes across the Caring Homes Group.
Home Manager Sam Booty said: “We think the Macmillan Coffee Morning is a great way to raise funds in the fight against cancer and to support our local team.
“We’re so pleased that we can get involved and help bring the community together for such a great cause. It’s been wonderful to see so many people come together to have fun over a piece of cake and a cup of tea or coffee, all while raising much needed funds.”
