Blenheim Court Hosts Easter Market for Local Community
Residents and team at Blenheim Court care home in Liss, Hampshire, have been busy hosting an Easter market for the local community. The event, which featured local stall holders, a bottle tombola, and an Easter egg hunt, was well attended despite the unpredictable weather.
Home Manager Samantha Booty said, "It was a fantastic day, and we were pleased to see so many people from the local area come out to support our event. We are always looking for ways to engage with our local community and bring people together, and the Easter market was a great opportunity to do just that."
In addition to the market, Blenheim Court's very own bunny made a special appearance, bringing some Easter cheer to children with an Easter egg hunt in the garden.
Visitors to the Easter market were also treated to mini egg martinis and a hog roast, with raffle prizes donated by local businesses including from an Indian restaurant, a local beauty salon, as well as Turtle Bean Cafe vouchers.
"We are incredibly grateful to all the team who worked hard to make the event a success, and to the local businesses who generously donated raffle prizes," added Samantha. "We had a wonderful day, and it was great to see so many smiling faces enjoying themselves."
