Blenheim Court team member shortlisted for award
Blenheim Court Care Home in Liss are proud to announce that Cyndi Edwards has been shortlisted in the Hampshire Care Awards, as a finalist for the Newcomer of the Year category. Cyndi joined the team in January 2021 as the Health and Wellbeing Coordinator for the home, organising a range of events and activities for all to get involved in. During her time at the home, she has brought so much energy and positive wellbeing not only to the residents, but also to the team and relatives during these difficult times.
Samantha Booty, Home Manager, Blenheim Court, says: “Everyone is so happy for Cyndi and we couldn’t be prouder to have her as part of the Blenheim Family. She is not afraid to step in and help around the home in various capacities always with a smile on her face.”
She continued: “Being shortlisted for this award is an amazing recognition for everything she has done, but one thing is for sure she is already a winner to us!”
The Hampshire Care Awards is an annual event organised and hosted by Hampshire Care Association, to celebrate outstanding individuals and providers of social care across the county, winners will be announced on Thursday 2nd December.
Blenheim Court Care Home provides residents with high quality residential, nursing and dementia care on a permanent and short stay basis. The home is part of the Caring Homes Group, which was established in 1994 by registered nurse Helena Jeffery and her son Paul. Since then, the company has grown to become one of the most highly respected independent care and support providers in the UK with 69 homes across the country and it remains family run.
