Brooklyn House Celebrate the Queens Birthday
For the Queens birthday the residents and care team at Brooklyn House Nursing Home in Attleborough watched Trooping the colour.
Some residents had made the flags earlier in the week in preparation for the day, and our health and wellbeing coordinator decorated the lounge with flag bunting in anticipation of the event.
The Union Jack flags were handed out to the residents before Trooping the colour started, some residents gathered in the lounge whilst others enjoyed waving their flags in their own rooms.
Residents also enjoyed a Royal Quiz. Did we know Zara from Anne or have an opinion on Meghan and Kate, Obviously the royal family don’t only belong to us in England, but all of the Commonwealth! The Royal family has a long history of messy relationships, runs ins with the media, and fascinating circumstances around births, deaths and marriages. The walls of Buckingham Palace have seen a LOT. But how much did we know?
