Brooklyn House Out and About in Norfolk
March saw the residents of Brooklyn House heading out and about on some group trips around Norfolk, hoping to enjoy some spring sunshine. Destinations this month included Whitlingham Country Park in the village of Trowse and the Riverside Entertainment Centre in Norwich.
Whitlingham Country Park is always a popular location and despite some unseasonably cold weather, the trip along the beautiful Norfolk broads and delicious picnic was still enjoyed by a number of residents from the Attleborough home.
Meanwhile, for those residents in need of some retail therapy, ‘Riverside’ in Norwich offered a wide selection of shops and restaurants. When the group were all shopped out, they headed for the bustling Riverbank Chinese Buffet restaurant.
Brooklyn House is a modern, purpose-built care home in Norfolk with nursing for up to 40 elderly people. Following a recent investment programme, the home benefits from the most up-to-date facilities and décor.
