Brooklyn House residents soak up September sunshine in Gorleston

With the ‘Indian summer’ continuing through September across the UK, some of the residents of Brooklyn House took full advantage recently with a trip to Gorleston-on-Sea, near Great Yarmouth.

Beryl Tedstone, Margaret Chambers, Allan Webb and Lillian Groom enjoyed a singsong on the minibus, before arriving at the sea front to beautiful blue skies.

The residents and staff tucked into fish and chips and refreshments on the seafront, before soaking up the fresh sea air with a walk along the promenade.

Brooklyn House is a modern, purpose-built care home in Norfolk that provides nursing care for up to 40 elderly ladies and gentlemen.
