5th November 2016
Residents from Brooklyn House in Attleborough, enjoyed an outing to Wymondham Rugby club for their annual firework extravaganza. We took the mini bus to the local rugby club and parked up in the grounds to watch the display. Although we were unable to leave the due to crowds and the cold weather, the group really enjoyed the show from the warmth of the minibus as the memories poured back.“It’s not like the days of the penny bangers” resident Raymond commented. They watched as rockets, mortars, star shells and roman candles were set off for the crowds of people that had attended.Residents had made a Guy a week before bonfire night during craft club and raised pennies for the guy.A grand time was had by all at Brooklyn House.[gallery columns="2" size="medium" ids="15981,15980"]Brooklyn House provides specialist nursing care in a purpose built environment for up to 38 elderly people. If you would like to find out more about life at Brooklyn House and the care we offer, or to request a meeting with our Home Manager, please contact us on 0808 223 5412 or [email protected].
