Brooklyn Manager scoops Oomph nomination

Brooklyn House Manager Kathryn Abbs has won the 'Oomph Care Home Manager of the Month' for March this week!Each month Oomph gives every qualified instructor the chance to nominate their Home Manager giving details of how they have excelled and supported the home with Oomph and activities. The winning Home Manager wins a prize for the home and the chance to become overall manger of the year.Kathryn was put forward by our Activities Coordinator Catrina, who write some very kind words about Kathryn:"Our home manager Kathryn Abbs has shown exceptional support as always! She has supported on outings and always has good ideas for new activities. She brings in resources and recently suggested doll therapy which is working well with our dementia residents. Kathryn is one of the most compassionate and enthusiastic managers I have ever met. Her tireless energy means our residents receive person centred care. Because of Kathryns fun loving personality Oomph! classes are always full of laughter. She fully supports our Oomph! sessions and enjoys seeing staff join in with our residents.
