Caring Homes to run The Summerfield Nursing Unit
Caring Homes Group is delighted to announce it is the new operator of The Summerfield Nursing Unit in Whittington Road, Cheltenham, as of 23rd June 2016.
Caring Homes will offer nursing, dementia and dementia nursing care for existing and new residents at the 66-bed purpose-built care home.
Managing Director of Caring Homes, says: “We are delighted to have added this very high quality building to our portfolio of elderly care homes in England and Scotland.
“Caring Homes has a 22-year history of delivering great care and we will be bringing our considerable expertise and experience to The Summerfield with immediate effect. At the heart of what we do is a desire to provide every resident with the opportunity to continue to live life to the full.
“A series of measures is planned such as recruiting further high quality care team members and investing in training. With the right people and procedures in place, The Summerfield has the potential to be a very good care home for elderly people. Caring Homes will be working with the regulator, CQC, and the local community to see that this potential is realised.”
