Caring Homes Shortlisted for Laing Buisson Awards
We’re once again celebrating excellence across our 60+ strong network of residential care homes by gaining five shortlists at the prestigious Laing Buisson Awards.
Demonstrating service excellence across the business, Caring Homes has been shortlisted by the leading market healthcare intelligence provider, Laing and Buisson, for the following categories: Residential Care Provider, Innovation in Technology for our new eCademy learning management system, Excellence in Dementia Care, for our specialist 32-bed dementia centre in East Sussex, and Outstanding Contribution, for our founder Helena Jeffery who started the organisation 21 years ago.
Our success has been based on the delivery of high quality care and support, making significant investments in training and clinical monitoring to ensure our ethos - to provide the highest standards of person-centered care and clinical excellence in locations anyone would be proud to call home - is consistently delivered upon.
We’ve invested in a bespoke online Learning Management System – eCademy – which has transformed access to training for our geographically diverse staff. Implementation of eCademy has seen a 217% increase in completion of training courses within the Caring Homes Elderly division, and managers are able to easily access and assess data.
Managing Director, Caring Homes, said: “Once again we’re delighted to receive such recognition from industry. Caring Homes was established to provide high quality care and support in local care homes for local people and our dedicated care teams continue to do this on a daily basis.”
He continued: “It is also wonderful to see Helena Jeffrey shortlisted for Outstanding Contribution - she has dedicated her life to help those in need and it is wonderful to see this acknowledged.”
The winners of the Laing Buisson Awards will be announced at a gala awards evening on 11 November at the Lancaster Hotel, London.
