Charity coffee morning is a success Laverstock Care Centre

3rd April 2014

As part of the wider Caring Homes Charitable Partnership, the staff and residents of Laverstock Care Centre enjoyed a coffee morning in aid of the Parkinson’s Society recently.

Everyone enjoyed a lovely cup of tea or coffee and tucked into a slice of lemon drizzle cake. Activities Coordinator Barry even took to the lounge piano to serenade the party guests. There was also a raffle featuring prizes such as soaps, toiletries and chocolates.

The morning raised £55 in total for the local Parkinson’s UK branch, which closely supports the Wiltshire home.

Situated on the outskirts of Salisbury, Laverstock Care Centre is a purpose-built home that provides residential, nursing and dementia care for up to 80 elderly ladies and gentlemen.
