Children in need at Sanford House
6th December 2017
Sanford House in East Dereham joined in the fun this year for Children in Need with a Pyjama Day.Children in need is a cause close to all of our hearts, residents and the care team alike. Although at this cause it as at the other end of the spectrum, children play an important part in all of our lives, and the residents get a tremendous amount of pleasure from meeting with children, so it seemed like a great idea to do something to raise a little money for the causeStaff made a small donation to the cause, and were allowed to wear their pyjamas instead of uniform for the day. Manager Joan Auton was among those who took part, and some of the residents even decided to wear their jim-jams all day long. Everyone had a great day and we were able to raise £61 for the worthy cause.Sanford House provides specialist residential and dementia care in a purpose built environment for up to 40 elderly people. If you would like to find out more about life at Sanford House and the care we offer, or to request a meeting with our Home Manager, please contact us on 0808 223 5533 or [email protected].
