Christmas party week at The Orchard
The Orchard Nursing home hosted not one, but three Christmas parties for their residents and staff this week. Each floor had their own party and live entertainment. Residents were able to invite their loved ones and enjoyed getting in the festive spirit and spending quality time together.
David Brierly entertained the ground and first floor, whilst Malcom entertained the second floor. The residents smiled and clapped along to the music, pulled crackers and told the jokes and had an all round great time.
The home's chef - Rod - put on a great buffet for everyone, which included some yummy Christmas tree cupcakes. Everyone at The Orchard enjoyed a glass of fizz or 2 with their buffet, and if fizz wasn't their thing, sherry and baileys were on the menu too!
