Paulina from the Hingham Star Bell Ringers added, “It’s changed over the years, we found some old photos and the group were all men. Now we are all Ladies! We found the bells up in the bell tower a few years ago and thought we would reform”.Resident Ruth had a special interest in the bell ringers as her father used to ring and was once the church warden in Attleborough, so this brought back many fond memories for her.All the residents, relatives and care team that attended the bell ringing were enthralled by the ringing, and just how they managed to play in time. The Star Ringers enjoyed playing and wish to return in the very near future.Brooklyn House provides specialist nursing care in a purpose built environment for up to 38 elderly people. If you would like to find out more about life at Brooklyn House and the care we offer, or to request a meeting with our Home Manager, please contact us on 0808 223 5412 or [email protected].
