Cotman residents visit the local

10th October 2016
Some of the male residents from Cotman House in Felixstowe, this week decided they wanted to take a trip to the local pub for lunch.Three carers took the gentleman along to the Owl and Pussycat for a pub lunch, where they enjoyed a three course meal, the food was lovely and they thoroughly enjoyed the desserts![gallery columns="4" ids="15860,15862,15861,15859"]At Cotman House we find this type of activity particularly beneficial to the residents because they get to experience a different environment and atmosphere, we all like to get out and about and they are no different. Meeting new people also builds their confidence and helps them feel like they are still a part of the local community. Not to mention it is all in a fun environment which they have enjoyed in the past.Cotman House and Lodge provides residential care in a purpose built environment for up to 61 elderly people over looking the Felixstowe Bay.If you would like to find out more about life at Cotman House and Lodge and the care we offer, or to request a meeting with our Home Manager, please contact us on 0808 223 5321 or [email protected].
