Couple at Parris Lawn celebrate 61 years of marriage

We are thrilled to share the news that one of our lovely couples is celebrating their 61st wedding anniversary at our Parris Lawn care home and we were honoured to be a part of this special milestone in their lives.

It's incredible to think back to March 61 years ago, when this couple first exchanged vows. It was a time of significant change in the world, with the first satellite, Sputnik 1, launched into space and Elvis Presley's "All Shook Up" topping the charts. We can only imagine what their wedding day was like, but it's clear that their love has stood the test of time.

Jackie Cox, Home Manager said, "We want to extend our warmest congratulations to the happy couple on reaching this incredible milestone. We are grateful to be a part of their lives and celebrate this special occasion with them. Our team has planned a special anniversary celebration for them, complete with a family meal and decorations, to make their day as memorable as possible".
