Creative writing at Blenheim Court Care Home
The home is proud to boast about it's very own creative writing crew who entertained this weekend as part of Blenheim Court Care Home's Christmas Pantomime Day.
They are named "The Wrinkly Writers"! and are headed up by the lovely Rosemary, who visits the home every Saturday afternoon for a fun-filled afternoon of whimsical and hilarious storytelling with ideas and input from the residents.
In honour of Blenheim Court's Christmas Pantomime Day, The Wrinkly Writers entertained in the Bistro with songs, poetry, some classic dance moves and an extract from their very own novel - "The Lord of the Lies".
In true Blenheim fashion, the team dressed as some classic Panto characters, from princesses to nuns and vicars and, of course, our very own Dick Whittington.
To finish another splendid day, the Christmas Raffle winners were drawn to the sounds of cheers and applause.
There is so much joy in the home's festive and fun-filled family atmosphere as we continue our peaceful plod to Christmas Day, it would melt even the most resolute Bah Humbug!
