David receives a top accolade in the Caring Homes Group Recognition Awards 2017
David Robinson who is IT Service Delivery for Caring Homes Group, has been awarded a top accolade this week at the Caring Homes Group Recognition Awards.
With over 5,500 employees across the group David beat off stiff competition to be awarded the Support Function colleague of the Year Award. The award celebrations took place at a glittering ceremony hosted within the Grove Hotel, Watford with awards being presented by Founding Director Helena Jeffery and musician and singer Ronan Keating, along with a host of sponsors.
In managing the IT service delivery team he sets high standards so the business receives the best possible resolutions and systems.
Comprising of 23 categories, the awards recognised the achievements of over 61 shortlisted finalists from Caring Homes and Group support functions. Categories included Manager of the Year, Carer of the Year plus awards for a top chef, ancillary workers, support colleagues and best kept gardens.
Following a review of over 3,000 nominations received from colleagues and people supported for the awards, it was agreed that David was a clear winner, described as having a positive attitude which motivates his team and keeps their motivation high.
The judges shared the views of one nomination which stated; “David’s user centred approach ensures a culture of excellence is cultivated within the team.
Attended by over 340 guests the evening was a great occasion, with colleagues and business partners coming together to celebrate the very best care and support provided across the country by outstanding people.
