Dreams come true at Norwich FC for Sanford

5th November 2016
Sanford House in East Dereham, continued to make wishes come true this weekend, when resident John Brunning and his wife Mel went to watch their beloved Norwich City play Leeds United at Carrow Road. Both John and his wife Mel are lifelong Canaries fans, and before he came to Sanford they attended every home match they could. It was a very exciting game with Robbie Brady scoring the 1st goal of the match but unfortunately Pontus Jansson equalised at 57 mins with Chris Wood scoring at 74 mins. John and Mel were delighted when Kyle Lafferty equalised at 88 mins, but unfortunately, Sanford couldn’t make every wish come true, as Leeds scored a final goal in the 90th minute and Norwich lost 3-2. The couple still enjoyed the occasion bringing back many memories of matches they have been to in the past, and the ups an downs of Norwich City.[gallery size="medium" columns="2" ids="15985,15984"]Helping our residents and their families spend valuable time together, doing things they used to enjoy is very important to us at Sanford House.
