Easter Celebrations at Broadbridge Park
The residents and team at Broadbridge Park Care Home enjoyed a wonderful Easter weekend following weeks of planning and crafting to make the celebrations so special. In the lead up to Easter the residents got involved in a range of arts and crafts activities where they made colourful Easter themed decorations that were hung up around the home, including bunnies and eggs. They also made baskets for the Easter hampers that were put together for a raffle on the day and then some wonderful flower arrangements for the tables in the dining rooms. Arts and crafts is a great way for our residents to express their creative side, while keeping their hands and mind busy.
Following all the preparation the celebrations were a great success with everyone enjoying a range of sweet treats on the day that were baked by the hospitality team at the home including various flavours of cup cakes decorated with mini eggs and icing, as well as a 'Chick' cake which made a wonderful centre piece for all to enjoy.
Everyone in the home, friends and family also had the opportunity to buy a raffle ticket to be in with a chance of winning some fabulous Easter hampers which did not disappoint.
