Every Juan had an amazing time at Whittington House!

Whittington House nursing home in Cheltenham visited Mexico for the day this week.Arts and Crafts club had been busy making flags and colouring, which were used to decorate the dining rooms. Film Club enjoyed ‘Once Upon a Time in Mexico’.For lunch the residents and relatives were able to enjoy a selection of Mexican dishes, burritos and tacos which were filled with guacamole and rice and beans. To finish chefs had prepared churros with a dipping sauce. A resident commented “I’ve never had food like this before; it was nice to try something different”.We had a fun packed afternoon, starting with a Mexican themed quiz, which really made us think and tested all our knowledge. The activities continued with music and singing with a variety instruments including maracas!
