Festive cake decorating day at Parris Lawn
The Wellbeing team at Parris Lawn turned the residents into festive chefs overnight. They made and decorated their own chocolate log cakes.
The homes head of Wellbeing - Carole, said it was possibly the most chocolate that has ever been consumed in the home, but it is Christmas after all so we'll have to the them off.
There was some impressive work that had been done by the residents and they had a lot of fun in the process. Getting the residents involved with arts and crafts or baking, is a great way for them to socialise, learn some new skills and keep their hands moving and minds occupied. Making and baking will continue to be a big part of our activities at Parris Lawn.
