The taste of the Amalfi Coast was brought to the heart of south-west London recently.

The Pines care home organises al fresco dining evenings on its veranda once a month for residents and their relatives, with the recent Italian-themed evening proving a great success.

Diners enjoyed king prawns and a platter of Italian meats and cheeses with ciabatta bread and olives to start, followed by a tagliatelle main course with an Italian salad. They also enjoyed a glass of wine with their meal.

Located in vibrant Putney, The Pines provides residential and nursing care for up to 43 elderly residents.
