Floral decorations and birthday celebrations at Mellish House

25th November 2014

A host of fabulous floral decorations were created at Mellish House this week as the residents took part in a popular flower arranging session.

Brenda Graham from the local Sudbury Flower Club hosted the event and residents used flowers that had grown in the garden at the Suffolk care home.

Resident Allan Jones also celebrated his 70th birthday on the same day and was presented with a cake made by his wife Elizabeth, which everyone helped Allan to polish off following the exertions of the flower arranging session.

Situated in the peaceful village of Great Cornard, Mellish House is a purpose built home providing residential care for up to 48 elderly people living with dementia.
