Fondue frenzy at Mellish House
The residents of Mellish House hosted a delicious chocolate fondue event at the care home earlier this week, where they indulged in dunking marshmallows and a range of fruit in the warm, smooth melted chocolate.
The interactive activity was just one of a wide range of activities which form part of the recently launched Caring Homes ‘Living’ programme. The new initiative is a structured activities programme based around a ‘five a day’ approach of providing activities that always meet either social, emotional, cognitive, sensory or physical needs as part of the holistic program of care delivered at the home.
Situated in the quiet village of Great Cornard, Mellish House is a purpose built home providing residential care for up to 48 elderly people living with a form of dementia.
