Getting crafty at Broadbridge Park
The residents at Broadbridge Park Care Home have been getting 'crafty' this week with a spot of arts and crafts making cards and also welcoming spring with some colourful flower arranging. They have been busy making a range of celebration cards which they did while enjoying a sherry and natter amongst themselves and the there were a range of creative cards designed.
Activity-based care is a key ingredient for our residents to feel engaged and helps socialisation within the home, which is why craft sessions like these are so popular with our residents. and a wonderful way to show off their creative side.
Also the flower arranging group had a spring in its step this week creating a range of colourful spring floral decorations which have been placed around the home for all to enjoy and to welcome the change in seasons.
