Getting creative at Homefield Grange

The residents at Homefield Grange Care Home have been enjoying some arts and crafts time and getting creative with Salt Dough, it is a great dough to work with as it can be made into a range of ornaments that can be used around the home and suits all abilities. The residents at the home enjoy working with it as it is very useful to explore different textures and colours, as well as being a good therapy tool. Not only that it is easy to make using basic kitchen ingredients so everyone can be involved.

As with all arts and crafts activities at the home it offers a great way for residents to keep their hands and minds busy, as well as giving everyone the chance to decorate them how they wish to show their creative side.
