Glorious weather at Blenheim Court in Liss
Times can be tough right now, but we have been making the most of our time and keeping very busy at Blenheim. We have been having our hair and nails done, enjoying games together, having some refreshing cocktails in the sun, eating lots of treats created by our brilliant chefs, making lava lamps, getting out and about in our beautiful garden, eating plenty of ice-creams, listening to live music in our grounds, making keyrings for loved ones, listening to lots of music, and generally having a jolly good time. Residents have been baking, flower arranging, enjoying skyping with loved ones, even meeting some surprise guests (ducklings and coco the lamb!)
Not to mention we have jumped at the chance to get our barbeque started in this glorious weather!
A perfect day for the band
We’ve had some fabulous outdoor entertainment recently, with residents enjoying singing from Welshman Gareth and music played by two members of the Liss Band.
Gareth is a very popular choice with our residents as he interacts with them and sings songs that people know and can join in with. He brought his parasol to protect his equipment from the sun but forgot the base, so the parasol was precariously perched on the garden seat and tied with a bungee lent by one of our lovely Residents.
Then we had a visit from the Liss band who played songs in the sunshine. It’s lovely that our residents can spend some time in the sun-shine and it certainly lifts everybody’s spirits!
