Halloween a hit at Hillside and Mellish House
Residents and staff at both Mellish House and Hillside in Sudbury had lots of fun celebrating Halloween this year, with a number of activities that went down a treat with residents.
A ghostly tea party was hosted, with an entertainer belting out some spooky songs whilst the residents took part in a slightly less traditional round of ‘Doughnut Bobbing.’ Many of the staff and residents got into the ‘spirit’ of the day by donning fancy dress costumes.
Hillside provides residential and nursing care for up to 37 elderly residents, whilst Mellish House provides residential care for up to 48 elderly people living with a form of dementia, in purpose-built surroundings. Both homes are located in the village of Great Cornard near Sudbury and have excellent reputations for delivering the highest quality care.
