Halloween fun at Hillside
The residents of Hillside enjoyed an action-packed Halloween schedule this week, with a range of activities put on to mark the annual event.
First up was ‘Batty Bingo’, in which the residents shouted out ‘witches’ for a winning line and ‘Halloween’ for a full house. Betty Harris won the winning line and three residents, Joan Meloy, Dorothy Hirons and Betty Harris, scooped the full house.
‘Team Joan’ won the ‘Hillside Halloween Quiz’ before everyone took part in a word association game centred on the words ‘Happy Halloween’, managing to find over 70 related words.
Located in the village of Great Cornard near Sudbury, Hillside provides residential care for up to 37 elderly residents and has developed an excellent reputation for delivering the highest quality care.
