Harvest Festival Service at Cedar House
Our local vicar came in to Cedar House on 16th October to lead a Harvest Festival Service. A couple of residents had already helped to put together a display of pumpkins, fruit, wheat sheaves and berries. They enjoyed singing the old hymns like ‘we plough the fields and scatter’ and recognised the harvest season since many of them had a rural Norfolk upbringing. Local church goers also helped sing the hymns and enjoyed tea and biscuits with the residents and Priest.
Fantastic event, really nice to see the residents smiling. Really good to see local church goers attending event too! Brightened up a dreary autumn day.
