Hillside Hosts a wonderful ‘wee’ party!
Hillside rolled out a variety of Scottish treats for the first of their ‘Countries of the World’ celebrations earlier this week.
Everyone got in the mood by listening to some traditional Scottish music and watching Braveheart, before tucking into haggis, scotch pies, shortbread, iron bru and whiskey, as served by the tartan-wearing staff.
This event was just one example of a wide range of activities that form part of the recently launched Caring Homes ‘Living’ programme. The new initiative is a structured activities programme based around a ‘five a day’ approach of providing activities that always meet either social, emotional, cognitive, sensory or physical needs as part of the holistic program of care delivered at the home.
Located in the village of Great Cornard near Sudbury, Hillside provides residential care for up to 37 elderly residents and has developed an excellent reputation for delivering the highest quality care.
