Hillside’s Tina completes charity fun run for Parkinson’s UK

6th May 2014

Hillside’s Activities Coordinator Tina threw on her trainers this weekend to take on the Sudbury Fun Run in aid of Parkinson’s UK.

Tina was joined by her daughter Megan as they completed the five-mile course together in a very respectable 45 minutes, raising valuable funds for the charity thanks to the support of staff, residents and relatives.

The mother and daughter team chose the event as a contribution to the Caring Homes ‘Charitable Partnership’ initiative for 2013/14, whereby each of the 56 care homes across the group are working together to raise thousands of pounds for their
two chosen charities, Parkinson’s UK and Diabetes UK.

Located in the village of Great Cornard near Sudbury, Hillside provides residential care for up to 37 elderly people and has developed an excellent reputation for delivering the highest quality care.
