Horsell Lodge Care Home residents enjoy trip out to Wisley Gardens
The residents, their loved ones and the team at Horsell Lodge Care Home enjoyed a trip out to Wisley Gardens.
Following Sophie Taylor, Customer Relations Advisor at the home raising money for the home by climbing Mount Snowdon back in February the residents were asked what they would like to do and the winning idea was to visit RHS Garden Wisley which is near to the home.
It was a lovely day out with the residents, their friends and family also joined us for the trip, making it even more special. The residents enjoyed getting the chance to look around the gardens at their own leisure as there are a lot of highlights including a wellbeing garden, wildlife garden, an exotic garden and so many other landscaped areas to enjoy.
One of the resident's commented "It's the best day i've had in a long time, such wonderful gardens".
It is fair to say that there was so much to enjoy that another trip may be added to the calendar in the future!
