Italian day is ‘molto bene’ at Brooklyn House
The residents of Brooklyn House were left feeling ‘molto bene’ after the staff team at the Norfolk home arranged a day of Italian-themed events.
They began the day by making pizza bread dough before watching the ‘Three Tenors’ whilst painting Italian flags to decorate the dining room.
Lunch was a delicious combination of the traditional Italian dishes of lasagne with garlic dough balls and Tiramisu, all prepared by the talented chef team.
There was more delicious food on offer in the afternoon as the residents got to work topping and baking the pizzas they had created in the morning, before holding a tasting session.
Brooklyn House is a modern, purpose-built care home in Norfolk that provides nursing care for up to 40 elderly ladies and gentlemen.
