Jog on Dementia
The Customer Relations Advisor, Richard Hollands at Parris Lawn Care Home in Lewes has completed his Jog on Dementia fundraising event to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society.
After seeing how dementia effects people and their loved ones he wanted to get involved in an event to bring awareness to it as well as to help raise much needed funds.
As a result he signed up to run 26.2 miles in February, by running a range of 10k runs from both his home as well as from Parris Lawn Care Home so the staff and residents can cheer him on. He actually finished 32 miles after doing an 11 mile run on his final day. A huge congratulations to him for completing his challenge and raising an amazing £3065 for such a worthwhile cause!
