We've extended National Care Home Open Week - All Summer

21st June 2021

Care Home Open Week is a national event hosted by Championing Social Care. It's purpose is to connect care homes with their local communities, challenge misconceptions about care and remind everyone that the unique individuals who live in care homes are supported by dedicated and professional caring teams.

We are extending the celebration all summer with a project called My World Rocks.

We are asking local communities, both groups and individuals, to get involved in this project by painting rocks with pictures or phrases that are close to their hearts. Our homes will be creating their own rock gardens which will contain painted rocks from colleagues, residents, relatives and the local community.

How to get involved

Rock painting is connecting people both young and old nationwide so why not get involved. You can meet our team and residents and find out what life is like in our homes. Contact us to find out what your local home is doing and how you can participate.
