Kate brings the seaside to Cotman

The residents a Cotman House and Lodge were visited yesterday by Kate, who bought in a collection of items that have been found along the Norfolk and Suffolk coastline.Some of these items we expected to find along the coast others maybe not quite so much. Items such as crab and lobster claws, mermaid purses, feathers, fishing lines, plastic, broken crockery, coral, shells and stones were all passed round for the residents to touch/feel and they all thoroughly enjoyed it. The different textures, shapes and colours gave us all plenty to talk about, even reminiscing about times we have spent at the beach with family and friends.One resident, Pam, thought she knew all there was to know about beaches but realised she didn’t and learnt lots of new interesting facts.
