Latest CQC report finds Mellish House ‘Good’ in all areas
Mellish House Residential Home in Sudbury, Suffolk is ‘Good’ in all areas of its service, according to the latest inspection of the home by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) published recently.
Maekhala Allan, Home Manager at Mellish House Suffolk, said: “We are extremely proud of our good rating in all areas. Well done to all of the staff, I was so pleased at the positive comments about our service in CQC’s report.”
The CQC report found Mellish House to be good in all areas: as a safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led service during its inspection visit earlier this year. Its report was published on the CQC website on Wednesday 24 June 2015.
This CQC report found that: ”Staff interacted with people who lived at their home in a caring and professional way,” and that: “Staff and visitors described the management of the service as open and approachable. People and their relatives considered that the service was safe and secure.”
