Laverstock Care Centre has joined forces with the Chatty Café Scheme, a prominent non-profit organisation dedicated to combating loneliness across the UK.
In an effort to promote social connections and alleviate isolation, the care home in Salisbury is proud to host a Chatty Café on the last Thursday of every month, 10am - 12pm. Our friendly team extend a warm invitation to the local community, encouraging everyone to participate in what we hope will be a really useful ongoing event.

What is the Chatty Café Scheme?
The Chatty Café Scheme offers various services to combat loneliness, including face-to-face meetups at venues with designated "Chatter & Natter" tables. These tables encourage individuals to come together and engage in conversation. Additionally, the organisation hosts online Chatty Café Sessions and provides a 'Telephone Friendship Service' for those experiencing loneliness.

Glenn, the Customer Relations Manager at Laverstock Care Centre, has spearheaded the initiative to establish the café at the care home.
