Laverstock residents celebrate bumper crop
The residents of Laverstock Care Centre were enjoying the fruits of their labour this week as their courtyard vegetable garden yielded an abundance of runner beans. The home’s vegetable garden has flourished in the glorious weather this summer and the residents were only too pleased to take advantage of the bumper crop of runner beans served up by the chef team at the Salisbury home. Situated on the outskirts of Salisbury, Laverstock Care Centre is a purpose-built home that provides residential, nursing and dementia care for up to 80 elderly ladies and gentlemen.
