Laverstock residents entertained by accordion musician
13th March 2016
On Tuesday 1st March, residents of Laverstock Care Centre were treated to a wonderful afternoon of accordion music.Played by Robin Geard, a local musician in the area, the accordion music helped with reminiscent memories of familiar tunes that residents could sing-a-long to.Robin enjoyed chatting to everybody, both on arrival and throughout the performance, which helped residents to feel relaxed and comfortable.Robin’s repertoire is full and varied, ranging from folk tunes to waltz, through to stomp sing and clap. He has become a regular face at Laverstock, coming to entertain residents on average once a month, which they thoroughly enjoy!Robin ended his performance with ‘we’ll meet again’ and on departing from his entertainment, residents commented on how good he was, thanked him for such a wonderful afternoon and asked when he would be returning.
